- Prasanta Phookan (MLA from Dibrugarh),
- Kaushik Rai (MLA from Lakhipur),
- Krishnendu Paul (MLA from Patharkandi), and
- Rupesh Gowala (MLA from Doomdooma).
Resignation Preceding Cabinet Expansion
Before the announcement of these four ministerial appointments, Sanjoy Kishan resigned from the Council of Ministers in Assam, paving the way for the induction of the new ministers.
Regional Representation in the New Cabinet
- Kaushik Rai and Krishnendu Paul represent the Barak Valley,
- Prasanta Phookan and Rupesh Gowala come from the Upper Assam region.
