A Humorous Yet Upsetting Prank

Actor Genelia D’Souza recently recalled a prank her husband, Riteish Deshmukh, played on her during their dating days. On April Fool’s Day, Riteish sent Genelia a text message saying, “We’re done,” before going to sleep, leaving her in shock.

A Sleepless Night of Worry

Genelia, who typically goes to bed early, discovered the message at 2:30 AM and felt distraught, wondering what had gone wrong in their relationship. “What went wrong? What is this cheek and audacity?” she remembered thinking. She spent the next few hours feeling miserable while Riteish slept soundly.

A Morning of Confusion

When Riteish woke up the next morning, he had completely forgotten about the prank. He called Genelia, cheerfully asking, “Hi, what’s up?” to which she replied, “I don’t think we should talk; I don’t want to talk to you.” Confused, he asked, “Why, what went wrong?”

Upon reminding him about the message, Riteish explained that it was just an April Fool’s joke. Genelia expressed her frustration, asking, “Who jokes about something like that?”

A Caring Partner

Despite the initial anger, Genelia praised Riteish for being a caring and supportive husband. She highlighted his immense respect for women and his commitment to family life. “He does everything with dignity and acceptance. He’s a partner who does everything wholeheartedly,” she said.
